I chose to honor Ms. Benoit because she is an amazing, kind-hearted woman. She is incredible at what she does. One of the things that makes me excited to go see her is how much she truly cares about me. She sits and listens to all my problems and stories without judgment and always makes me feel comfortable. She is one of the only staff members who actually sees Kayley for Kayley. She truly took the time to get to know me for who I am — not for my grades, attendance, or my attitude, but for me as a person.She has been supporting me since 9th grade when i started doing dual enrollment. She has given me a reason to keep going. She is the only person who has acknowledged how far I have come and the only person who has told me she is proud of me when no one else has. She is the reason I am still here today. 💛
