STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

Teaching children with special needs is a rare gift and a true calling—something that feels as if it is given from above. It requires constantly giving a part of yourself: finding ways to spark a child’s interest, discovering an individual approach for each one, and noticing even the smallest signs of progress. This is something not everyone is able or willing to do. It takes an incredible amount of patience, dedication, and heart to gently guide a young child onto a path of growth and development. What may seem small or insignificant to others often carries enormous meaning for parents like me. Simple stickers, drawings, or a few new words may not look like much from the outside, but for me, they are milestones—deeply meaningful moments that reflect real progress and effort. Every day, I see that my son wants to go to school, that he runs there with joy, that he proudly brings home his little creations, and even begins to use new words. These things may seem small in the eyes of others, but for me, they mean everything. I can clearly see how my son is growing and developing, and I know exactly who I need to thank for that.
