Mr Tompkins is hands down the best teacher Western has too offer. I've been very grateful to have him for 2 years out of all 4 years I've attended the school, he makes learning feel fun and he's not your average "robotic" teacher you know, for the first time ever I actually understood math!! He takes the time and can teach every student one on one. Not only in Math but Mr. Tompkins has taken his time too help me with work from other classes and I'd even go as far too say that his mini lessons on other subjects makes me learn more than what I did in the other class, I always remember he helped me study for a American Government test and the confidence I had before asking for help on my test was very low, but after he helped me I swore I could do that test with my eyes closed ( I ended up acing that quiz the following Friday). Nonetheless, I'm glad I got the opportunity to share how Mr. Tompkins has left a positive impact on my life even outside of school, he treated me like the father I never got to have :). ALSO GO NINERSSSSS!!!!
