When Henry started first grade, he was shy and a bit apprehensive. Ms. Martinez’s warmth and enthusiasm quickly made a difference. She created an environment where he felt comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. Now, we see Henry eager to go to school each day, motivated to do his best and proud to share what he’s learned. He truly wants to make his teacher proud, which speaks volumes about the connection she’s built with him. This growth is especially apparent in his reading—he often wants to take over and read to us, sometimes even taking the book out of our hands, and he loves reading stories to his little brother during reading time. We’ve loved watching his growth this year—both in confidence and in his love of learning—and we are incredibly grateful to Ms. Martinez for the impact she’s had on him.
