Teacher Nomination for Ms. Shambry I would like to nominate Ms. Shambry for the meaningful impact she has had on my son, Nasir, during his third-grade school year as his homeroom teacher. Ms. Shambry played a vital role in supporting Nasir as he transitioned into her classroom. Transitions can sometimes be challenging for students, but she handled the process with such care, patience, and attentiveness that it made the experience smooth and comforting for him. As a parent, it meant so much to know that he was welcomed into an environment where he felt supported and understood. What makes Ms. Shambry such an awesome teacher is her ability to truly see her students. She has been incredibly involved in Nasir’s development, taking the time to encourage him, guide him, and help him feel confident in his space within the classroom. Her approach created a sense of stability for him during a time of change, which made a lasting difference in how he was able to adjust and thrive. She consistently demonstrates that she cares about her students not only academically but personally as well. Her encouragement and attentiveness have helped Nasir feel comfortable, supported, and motivated to continue growing. It has been beautiful to see how her presence has contributed to his development and overall experience this school year. I am deeply grateful for the way Ms. Shambry embraced Nasir and made his transition into her classroom such a positive one.
