Ms. Sessum is awesome because she makes learning feel exciting and fun every single day. She is happy and smiley and that makes everyone want to join in and try their best. When she teaches, it feels like we are part of something important, and it makes me want to work harder. We work to be our best in her classroom in the best way. She helps us try to beat ourselves, and that makes me feel like I’m always getting stronger and smarter. Even when something is hard, she cheers us on and reminds us that effort matters. That makes me excited to go to class because I feel like I can win. She shows that she cares by celebrating my growth. When I improve, even in small ways, she notices and makes it feel like a big victory. That makes me feel proud and like she really sees how hard I’m trying. Ms. Sessum helps me become more confident because she teaches me that I don’t have to be the best at everything—I just have to try as hard as I can.
