I was Ms. Vargas’s office aide. Even though I wasn’t in the COAST program and was part of another magnet program, she still had a big impact on me. She taught me a lot about serving the community and helping others. During that class period, I also helped take care of the animals, which taught me responsibility and compassion. Ms. Vargas truly cares about her students and inspires everyone around her to make a difference.
