STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

I met Mrs.Vargas when I was going into 6th grade. She is the most out going and sweetest teacher I have ever came across. Being in 6th grade I had a hard time adjusting to the transition and was a very quiet and shy kid in the class room until I met Mrs. Vargas. Mrs. Vargas always shows love and care to her students she is an amazing teacher. I would sit and talk with her all class period and she would give me advice to not let my fear of doing stop me from experiencing my life. She taught me so many things out side of class that stick with me everyday even after graduating from CBMS. She showed me husbandry skills, how to speak more confidently to adults and peers around me, and most importantly she taught me that a small voice can always still be heard and to stand up in what I believe in. Mrs. Vargas is more than a shoe in for this award because she teaches students while giving them real world advice that prepares them for the future and I’m so glad to be one of the students she got to touch with her knowledge. In summary Mrs. Vargas brought me out of my shell and made me love having a strong opinion for sticking up in what I believe in. I remember at the end of 6th grade we had an event call the “Coastie Awards” and I received the “Most Improved Award” I remember feeling so special because the only reason I am the person I am today is because she is the woman who molded me into me. Mrs. Vargas has always been so kind and compassionate to me and I would love her to get recognition for being the amazing woman that she is. I graduated from CBMS with a whole extra world of knowledge because of that wonderful lady and I remember hugging her at graduation and almost crying while thanking her for everything she is. Mrs. Vargas makes and impact on everyone around with little to no effort because she’s so naturally caring and has a heart the size of the world and she always uses it for good.
