It is with great joy that I nominate Mrs. Cinthya B. Ramirez for the Honored Schools Life-Changing Teacher Award. She has taught all three of my children over the past eight years. Having experienced her impact on each of my children, I can confidently say she is truly a life-changing teacher. Mrs. Ramirez is awesome because she teaches from the heart. She combines dedication, warmth, and professionalism in a way that makes every child feel safe, valued, and capable. She does not simply teach lessons—she builds confidence, character, and a love of learning that stays with her students long after they leave her classroom. She makes children excited to go to class by creating an engaging and joyful learning environment. Her classroom is filled with creativity, hands-on activities, and meaningful routines that help children feel both comfortable and challenged. As a dual language educator, she seamlessly integrates Spanish and English into daily instruction, making learning dynamic and inclusive. My children have benefited tremendously from this, gaining both academic skills and cultural appreciation at an early age. Mrs. Ramirez shows she cares in countless ways. She takes time to understand each child’s unique personality, strengths, and needs. She celebrates their successes—big and small—and patiently supports them through challenges. She regularly communicates with parents, ensuring we feel informed and involved. It is clear that her care extends beyond the classroom; she is deeply invested in the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. She makes her students better and more confident by encouraging independence, curiosity, and resilience. She gently pushes them to try new things, speak up, and believe in their abilities. Because of her guidance, my children have developed strong academic foundations along with the confidence to participate, explore, and take pride in their accomplishments. Inside the classroom, she fosters empathy, cooperation, and respect, building a true sense of community. Outside the classroom, she supports families by offering guidance, reassurance, and consistent communication. Over the years, she has been a steady, positive influence in my children’s educational journey. Mrs. Ramirez has made a lasting impact on all three of my children. She goes above and beyond every single day to ensure her students receive not just an education, but a meaningful and empowering start in life.
