Mrs. Raven from day one exuded an energy that was so warm and inviting, that reassured my daughter and even myself that she was going to not only be okay but thrive in her 1st grade class. Mrs. Raven has not only set high expectations for her students but ensures she assists them however needed to meet them, which has built confidence in her students. My daughter was not the best reader at the beginning of the school year. Mrs. Raven encouraged her every time she read. She helped her in tutorials and even provided extra resources for home. She is now a fluent reader. My daughter LOVES Mrs. Raven because she feels the love Mrs. Raven gives to each child. When it comes to holidays and individual birthday she makes each child feel special. She even went above and thing and bought each child personalized name and colored yeti cups to ensure each child has a water cup for class and even provides water bottles to refill. No child is ever left behind, in any capacity, when it comes to her. I could go on and on about how wonderful and deserving of a person she is. She isn’t just a great teacher bout an AMAZING human being. She is the type of person you remember for the rest of your life, and the impact she made on you.
