Something that makes this teacher awesome is he pushes you to reach your full potential but provides the tools, scaffolding, and patience to get you there. Some things that they do that makes me excited to come to his class is we do many fun things. They let me know that they care because he hears what you are saying (and not saying), giving you their full attention and validation. Something that they do to make me feel better and more confident is he acknowledges every step of progress, no matter how tiny, which builds your self-esteem. They support me outside and inside in class by flexible teaching styles, re-teaching hard concepts using different methods (visuals, hands-on tools) to match your learning style. They also are available for extra help, offer to review work outside of school hours, and often attend your extracurricular events (games, concerts) to show they care about your whole self.
