Dear [ Hubbard Chelsea], I wanted to take a moment to tell you just how much I appreciate you. You are truly an awesome teacher, and I feel so lucky to be in your class. There are so many reasons why you are great, but here are just a few of the things that make you stand out. What Makes You Awesome & Excited to Learn You make me truly excited to come to class because you make learning fun! Instead of just lecturing, you bring energy to the classroom. I love how you use [mention a specific thing, e.g., games/music/real-world examples] to help us understand tough concepts, turning boring lessons into something I actually look forward to. You have a contagious positive attitude, and you always start our class on a high note. How You Show You Care I know that you care about me not just as a student, but as a person. You show this by asking how my day is going and really listening to the answer. I know I can talk to you when I feel overwhelmed, and you always treat me with respect and kindness. You make me feel seen, especially on days when I feel stuck, by giving me extra attention and encouragement without making me feel bad about it. How You Make Me Better You have made me a much more confident student because you believe in me, even when I don’t believe in myself. You push me to do my best, but you also provide the support I need to get there. I appreciate that you are patient with me when I am struggling with a new topic, and you never give up on me. Support Inside and Outside the Classroom Inside the classroom, you take the time to explain things in a way I can understand, and you encourage me to ask questions. Outside the classroom, you have supported me by [mention a specific example, e.g., coming to my game/helping me after school/giving advice on a project]. Thank you for being more than just a teacher—you are a mentor and a true inspiration. Sincerely, [Bailey Benjamin]
