Mrs. Landrew helped me on the English STAAR greatly by demonstrating the skills and techniques to use in a longer-styled essay. She is very direct in class about what is to be expected- even if it results in a plethora of work and assignments to complete. Despite this work, I feel that my essay writing has improved greatly as I scored an 8 on my TSI, and hopefully I scored good on my STARR as well.
