If you looked up "diligent" in the dictionary, you would find a picture of Ms. Landrew. As the 9th-grade English teacher and the Yearbook Committee Sponsor, her schedule is insanely busy. Yet, she makes time for each of her responsibilities and cares deeply about helping her students grow along the way. What distinguishes her from other teachers is that she mentally prepares her students for work beyond high school. English is a profession she takes seriously, and she sets high standards for herself and her students. Every day, she walks in with a determined mindset, ready for what the day has in store. That's why Ms. Landrew's story must be recognized.
