I would like to nominate Ms. Long as that teacher because she truly goes above and beyond for her students. She has shown so much care and compassion toward my daughter, Kaylee, and our family. Ms. Long would always keep me informed by reaching out when assignments were missing, and she would also check in just to see how Kaylee was doing during times when she was not attending school regularly. And had to do work through Canvas. Ms. Long is more than just a teacher she is a caring mentor and a positive light in the school. She has a genuine passion for teaching and for helping her students succeed, both academically and personally. In a world where so much attention is placed on the negative, Ms. Long reminds us how powerful a dedicated teacher can be. She has made a lasting impact on Kaylee’s life. Kaylee looks up to her, respects her, and is inspired by her. Teachers like Ms. Long make a real difference, and she is truly deserving of being honored.
