I would like to nominate our school’s behavior specialist for this award because the impact she has had on our child and our family has been truly meaningful. She goes far beyond what her role requires. One of the things that stands out most is the way she consistently took the time to check in on him, even something as simple as checking in to make sure he was ok. Those small acts showed how deeply she cares about the whole child, not just behavior in the classroom. She has also been an incredible leader at our school. Her calm, supportive presence creates a safe space for students who may be struggling. For our son, she became a trusted adult, someone he felt comfortable opening up to outside of just his dad and me. That kind of trust is priceless, and it has made a real difference in his confidence and growth. We truly believe part of the reason he is doing so well today is because of the guidance, patience, and genuine care she has shown him. She sees the best in students and helps them see it in themselves. Our family is incredibly grateful for the role she has played in supporting him and so many other children at the school. She is exactly the kind of educator who deserves to be recognized and celebrated.
