I want to honor Mr.Davis because of how caring, fun, and helpful he is. When it was the first day of 7th grade I thought he was going to be strict based on how serious he would always look, but as soon as he started introducing himself, I literally took it all back. Mr. Davis helped me understand the history of Texas and the people who were important in that era. If I had a question about it, he would immediately explain it to me to the point where I could understand and take it all in. He makes me feel more confident in learning about the era we are going to learn. He's so fun to be around whenever we go outside. He honestly plays with everyone, he would play baseball with one group and then go play volleyball with another group! Another reason that I'm honoring Mr.Davis is because of how caring he is. When I walk in the halls, I always see him outside his class, and as soon as he sees me, he asks me about my day. Another example was when we did our second or third mariachi play. At first I was nervous because I thought I was going to mess up right away, but as soon as I saw him in the audience, he gave me more confidence and the play went well!
