Coach B looked after me. It felt like the world was against me very often and she would just help me. I remember how it’d just fight so much and instead of putting me down about it she bought me boxing gloves and let me punch on the pads around the gym. I told her I wanted to go to harvard so she started paying attention to my grades. I had no real friends and she put me on the volleyball team and helped me make some. She gave me ways to cope and so many opportunities. I'm so thankful for her.
