STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY
Even though my mom isn’t my teacher in a classroom, she is one of the greatest teachers I’ve ever had in my life. She teaches me every day in ways that go far beyond school. What makes her so awesome is how kind, patient, and loving she is, especially when it comes to helping me learn and grow.
My mom helps me with my homework and makes sure I understand my work instead of just getting it done. She takes the time to explain things, helps me study, and encourages me not to give up when something feels hard. Because of her, I feel more confident going to class and trying my best.
She lets me know she cares about me by always being there for me. She listens when I talk, supports me when I’m stressed, and reminds me that I’m never alone. Even when she’s busy, she still finds time to help me, whether it’s with schoolwork or just checking in on how I’m feeling.
My mom helps me become a better and more confident student by believing in me and pushing me to believe in myself. She reminds me of my strengths and encourages me to keep going, even when I doubt myself. She teaches me that mistakes are part of learning and that I don’t have to be perfect to succeed.
She supports me both inside and outside of the classroom—helping me with homework, giving me advice, and teaching me important life lessons. Even though she’s not my teacher, she teaches me every day, and I’m so grateful to have her as my mom and my biggest supporter.
