I would like to respectfully nominate Mr. Brad Dissler for recognition as an outstanding Special Education Instructional Facilitator (SEIF). Mr. Dissler has truly made a meaningful difference in our experience as parents of a student with special needs. From our very first IEP meeting, he created a warm and welcoming environment where my wife and I felt comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. His professionalism is exceptional, yet he balances it with kindness and approachability that immediately puts families at ease. What makes Mr. Dissler especially remarkable is his dedication and responsiveness. He consistently ensures that parents are supported and informed, taking the time to listen carefully and respond thoughtfully. Even outside of the regular school year, his commitment never wavers. During one summer ( July) , when we were facing concerns about our child’s behavior, we reached out to him without expecting an immediate response. To our surprise and relief, he replied right away with guidance on ABA therapy and provided helpful resources, including contacts for specialists who could support our child. That moment brought us comfort and reassurance during a very stressful time. Mr. Dissler also goes above and beyond in building strong relationships. Each day during school pickup, he makes an effort to greet us, check in, and offer support. His simple but sincere words, If you need help, just let me know”, reflect the genuine care he has for both students and their families. Because of his dedication, compassion, and expertise, Mr. Dissler not only supports students academically but also empowers families to feel confident and hopeful. He has made a lasting impact on our child’s growth and on our peace of mind as parents. We are incredibly grateful to have Mr. Dissler at our school.
