Mr. Alvarez is so kind and thoughtful, he buys me snacks and he’s my friend not just my old teacher. He’s always there to talk to even when he’s busy. Whenever I’m feeling down he makes me feel better since I can talk to him about my problems, and vent to him and he tells me it’ll get better. He buys us snacks just for us and jokes with us and he’s really funny. I had his class last year and he would teach us individually and made sure everyone could keep up or he’d keep trying to help them understand. In such a class as Algebra 2, he made the class so much easier. Whenever he’d be absent he’d always tell us beforehand and make sure we’d keep up with all the work, he wouldn’t overwork us. He makes me feel confident as a student and as a person overall. He’s been through so much but still keeps pushing to do his best. In my opinion, he’s such an amazing person and he deserves this.
