What makes this teacher awesome? My dance teacher Mr. McCullough is awesome because he goes above and beyond to make every student feel seen, valued, and capable of greatness. He doesn’t just teach dance steps—he teach discipline, confidence, teamwork, and how to believe in yourself. His passion for dance shows in every class, and it inspires me to push harder and give our best. What are some things they do to make you excited to go to class? He make every class fun, energetic, and positive. From playing great music to creating choreography that challenges me and allows us to express ourselves, there is never a dull moment. He celebrate our progress, no matter how big or small, and he always find a way to make learning exciting. His positive attitude and encouragement make me look forward to coming to class every day. How do they let you know that they care about you? Mr. Tre take the time to check on us, ask how we’re doing, and really listen. He encourage us when we’re having a hard day and remind us that we are capable of more than we think. He is patient, understanding, and always make sure every student feels included and important. What do they do to make you a better and more confident student? Me. Tre, push me to step outside of my comfort zone and believe in myself. He correct me in a way that helps me grow and never makes me feel discouraged. Because of him, I am more confident not only in dance but also in school and in life. He teach us to be responsible, work as a team, and never give up. How have they supported you inside and outside of the classroom? Inside the classroom, he stay after class to help us practice, make sure we understand the choreography, and encourage us to keep improving. Outside the classroom, he support our performances, school activities, and personal goals. He is someone we can look up to and depend on for guidance Mr. McCullough is more than a teacher—he’s a mentor, a role model, and a constant source of inspiration. He’s made a lasting impact on my life, in this short period of time and I am truly grateful for everything he does for myself and every students every single day.
