Congratulations to
Life-Changing Teaching Award Nominee
ANGELICA DANIEL
SPRING EARLY COLLEGE ACADEMY
STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY
Mrs. Daniel is a wonderful teacher because she understands her subject, her students, and more importantly, how to teach efficiently and effectively. She is very consistent in both low and high demand assignments but is aware enough to space them out and always supplies sufficient information to complete them whether or not you missed class. She's also very understanding and is more than willing to help you raise your grade, without being a pushover and standing firm with troublesome students who need the firm opposition to get back on track.
Her classes are not excessively difficult, as far as English classes go. That does not mean they are easy classes, though; she is more than capable of giving out difficult assignments after confirming enough information is provided and learned by the students to succeed. Even on such difficult assignments, she will always aid you when you ask questions about it, no matter how simple. This makes her a very approachable and likable teacher, as she manages to teach effectively while understanding student struggles.
Students who have passed her class can often just head to her room during the periods she is not teaching to talk to her about whatever they like, and she is quite eager to engage in discussions of written literature particularly. She is able to form powerful bonds with students and even help those who have long passed her class to the best of her capability. She can often give out many pointers to those who ask or affirmations to those who need them, making her the single greatest teacher I've ever studied under.
