What makes Ms. Schmiedt awesome is the fact that, overall, she's such an amazing human being, and she's always there when other students or I need her. Some things that make me very excited to go to class is just the fact that I am going to see her, she's funny, and if you're hungry she'll give you popcorn to ease your hunger. She also helps the students with their work when they don't understand, she's really helpful. I know that she cares not just about me but also all her students because she prints out papers in both English and Spanish so that all the students know what to do in whatever language they speak/understand. She also gives out popcorn to students when watching a film, she also listens to students who are going through something and even provides help, even on her off time she helps you out when you don't understand the work. What makes me confident in myself is the fact that she believes in me and she lets me know that, whenever I say "I can't do this" she tells me "don't give up, I believe in you, you are smart, you got this" if I make a mistake she tells me that it's okay we all make mistakes and that from the mistakes we learn. Inside and outside she supports me by always being there for me, if I need her to check my work or need help with my work she replys to me even on the weekends to help me out. She is always available for her students no matter what, she's really amazing and is such a kind soul overall.
