I've had a lot of great teachers throughout my years in schooling but never have I met a more present and purpose driven man then Mr. Hodson. Every single day, without fail or detouring, he engages the class in hands-on learning. If he taught a subject I had no interest in I would still pay attention due to both his charisma/humorous infused teaching style, and the respect he demands by showing up the way he does. I've never been in a classroom where every single person likes their teacher, until I had his anthropology class. What a wonderful open-minded man, he sets a great example for all his students alongside anyone who comes into contact with him. In a long-winded debate we had about theology, he said that he hopes his energy/personality is able to live on through the students. If that doesn't paint a perspective on how he shows up every single day and the legacy he's cementing, I don't know what will. He has made an impression on my life that I am thankful for, and impressive is an understatement.
