What makes Mrs. North awesome? "Obvious! She lets us go outside and play for recess. She teaches us and helps us grow by learning. She makes me feel happy." What are some things Mrs. North does that make you excited to go to class? "She lets me hold the butterflies and let me see baby chicks. She teaches us fun songs and dances." How do you know that Mrs. North cares about you? "She always helps us. She hugs us every morning and she is very patient. When we are sad she always helps us." What does Mrs. North do to make you a better and more confident student? "She helps me with testing. I like that she helps me with testing because it's really hard." How have they supported you inside and outside of the classroom? Mrs. North has been the best kinder teacher we could have asked for. She has given her whole career to these tiny humans and there is not a day that goes by where you are not reminded of that. She has supported our son and helped us navigate different challenges with so much love and patience. While we have the privilege (lol) of a quick meeting with her every day after school and it is so special to see all of her previous students running up to get a hug every single day. I can truly tell not only from my own experience but from those moments with previous students how deeply she truly effects these kids lives! She has truly created a space and community throughout all of the years where everyone feels the love and commitment.
