My chosen teacher is my one and only, GATE teacher, Mrs Jimenez. What makes her so special to me? She's very nice, emphatic, and intelligent. She makes every lesson entertaining, laughs with us, and shows us how to fix our mistakes. She teaches us responsibilities, and makes us play our part for our group. She makes fun, stressful reality games, like the Oregon trail, where every choice has an impact on the train wagon. She makes our brains work like crazy too solve all these fun problems! What things make me excited to go to class every day when we have GATE? I always excited for the work, games and seeing Mrs Jimenez. I like how shes so altruistic and she makes the lesson fun for everyone. She always helps us solve disagreements by asking us to solve it by either making a deal or cooling off. I also like the games very much because its always like reality most of the time. bad things happen in the Oregon trail, so bad things happened when we played it! Like the sagebrush growing over a foot tall! Mrs Jimenez cares about me because she is always kind, helpful and magnanimous. She always helps to dispute arguments, and everything in between and always tries her best. She cares about me because I even spot her bragging about how good I did in class to my older brother, who is in GATE too! Every now and then, we take a grit test. Grit is confidence that pursues to keep going, she shows us ways to be more confident and being more of a leader. They supported me outside the classroom by waving at me, which made me very happy, being there when I was sad and urging me on!
