It takes a "very special" person with a huge heart to work with special needs kids and Mrs. Camiel has shown just that! Mrs. Camiel has gone way and beyond to make sure all the student's met their goals and the result on my part is outstanding. Since my son has had Mrs. Camiel as his teacher, he has learned to be more independent in his daily living tasks, math, vocabularies, and more. While other prior teacher think its impossible for a special need student to even progress, Mrs. Camiel has definitely proved them wrong! She definitely deserve this award; she sees what the student can become and knows how to assist in helping them become just that.
