Mrs. Auch is a phenomenal teacher with a golden heart and passion for teaching. Gavin was extremely shy at the beginning of the year and through her patience, loving environment and encouragement he was able to flourish. He found his voice, sometimes a bit too much, and learned to speak and interact more confidently. Although he is in first grade this year, she still checks in on him and continues to encourage his development academically and socially. Gavin's actual words: "I loved working in Mrs. Auch's centers and I liked the work we did. I was really shy at first, but then I got happy because I was excited to come to school. I really liked recess too. Mrs. Auch taught me a lot of things and loved me."
