Ms. Merino is awesome because she actually cares about her students and wants us to do well. She doesn’t just teach and move on she makes sure we understand and feel comfortable asking questions. She also has a really positive vibe that makes class better. She makes me excited to go to class by making lessons more fun and not boring. We do activities, have discussions, and sometimes even laugh, so it doesn’t feel like a typical class. You can tell Ms. Merino cares because she checks in on us and is always willing to help. She listens and doesn’t judge, which makes it easier to talk to her if you’re struggling.
