Dr. Barrera is the kind of teacher you’ll remeber even as an adult. She’s is an amazing teacher that always supports her students. and makes class exciting by turning even the boring topics into lessons that are interesting and worth learning. (I still remember the Gimkits and mock scenarios she would give us to help us study for tests ) She shows that she cares by always being there for her students, encouraging us, and taking time to help us when we need it. Dr. Barrera helps me become a better and more confident student by challenging me to do my best, explaining things clearly, and celebrating my progress. Beyond the classroom, she supports us through her dedication to the BPA club and other activities, always making sure we step out of our comfort zone every once in a while. All in all, I’m grateful to have her as a teacher and mentor.
