What makes Dr. Barrera such an amazing teacher and person is her personality and the way she supports you and helps you grow, no matter what. I remember not being sure about joining a club this year, and she was the one who pushed me. She told me that if it could help in the future with applications, and because it’s an experience not everyone can have, I should go for it. I really appreciate her for this and for the way she encourages you and tells you honestly whether something is good or bad for you. Overall, Dr. Barrera is one of the best teachers I could have asked for, and I’m glad to have her at my school.
