Dear Ms. Willson, I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I appreciate having you as my teacher this year. What makes you so awesome is how genuinely nice and kind you are to everyone in the class. You always create such a warm environment where it feels good to learn. I especially love that you buy our class snacks—it shows us how much you care about our comfort and well-being, and it really makes us excited to come to your room every day. I also wanted to thank you for the grace you give us when we are working. It means so much that you understand when we need a little more time to finish our work, even when the time is officially up. This support makes me a better and more confident student because I don’t feel as stressed, which helps me focus and do my best.
