Dear Ms bracht I wanted to take a moment to tell you why you are an absolutely incredible teacher and why I feel so lucky to be in your math class. What Makes You Awesome I look forward to your class because of your energy and the creative ways you start our lessons. You turn math into a game or a puzzle, whether it's through [vertical whiteboarding / math games / real-world word problems], which makes me want to participate and solve problems together. The way you create a "safe space" where it's okay to get stuck and try again makes me feel excited to tackle new challenges rather than scared of making a mistake. How You Let Me Know You Care I know you care about me, not just as a student, but as a person. You show this by: Actively Listening: When I ask a question, you really listen to what I’m saying, helping me figure out where I’m getting stuck. Patience: You never get frustrated when I don't get it right away; you simply guide me through the maze of the problem until it clicks. Checking In: You notice when I’m having a rough day and greet us with a smile, no matter how chaotic the day is. Sincerely, Amabella Cardenas
