What makes this teacher awesome is his ability to switch from strict and serious to fun and carefree. He also doesn't mind guiding students step by step through problems that they don't understand. It is something that is very important, especially working with middle schoolers. It helps students do their work while still not being under the pressure of having to do everything right. It also helps students actually learn due to the fact that some teachers, unfortunately, get upset with their students when they ask multiple questions about the topic, thinking they either aren't paying enough attention or don't want to learn. Some things he does to make me excited to go to class are being really positive. He is super fun and matches your energy, making it helpful to enjoy going to class and learn. The way he lets me know that he cares about me is that when you are missing something in class, an assignment, a test, an IXL, he lets you know immediately so you can check it out and do it so you don't get a bad grade. He cares for his students and their grades. What he does to make me a better and a more confident student is by taking time to teach and explain the topic we are learning. Which helps students understand the topic very well, helping their grades and confidence when taking tests. He has supported me inside and outside of the classroom by giving me definitions to words I may not know that I will actually need when outside of school. The way he teaches is very supportive because it can help me in the future with highschool and the way he teaches makes it hard to forget what you have learned.
